Founders Brynne Labuzan and Kelly Russell met in 2018 apprenticing as perfumers at a custom fragrance shop in Chicago, Illinois.​

They bonded over their mutual passion for bespoke scents and a complementary style of perfumery. With a love for the art and dedication to personalized experiences, they founded Heartnote Parfum in 2024.
